Anne Brown’s New England roots run as deep as her affinity with the sea. She is happiest exploring the New England coastline from Cape Cod to Maine and sharing the joy and peace she finds there with others. Kathleen Casey is a teacher, gardener, poet and fine art photographer living on the Childs River in East Falmouth. She likes to wander her back yard, Menauhant Beach, Waquoit Bay, Washburn Island and Vineyard Sound, taking photographs that convey the quiet pleasure of being there. Julia Cumes is a South African born photographer based on Cape Cod, MA. She’s passionate about storytelling and capturing real moments of human connection as well as expressive portraits. Her favorite projects are focused on women and the struggles they face around the world as well as wildlife conservation. To this observer she channels Dorothea Lange and Henri Cartier-Bresson. Emily L. Ferguson’s deep love of the Cape began in West Falmouth in the early 1990s. Using a reportorial style, she began in the mid-1990’s to record the changes in its physical and social environments, focusing on Truro and Buzzards Bay. Pete Hocking is a painter, teacher, curator & writer on Cape Cod. His work is concerned with nature, place, poetics and identity.
