June Twelve 17x22 print on rag paper, signed, limited edition #16 of 100, natural wood frame. An edition of larger prints, 20×30, has sold out at prices between $1000 and $2000.
This is a Herreschoff Twelve and a half footer at rest in the Quissett Harbor Boatyard in 2004. These boats are unique to the waters of Buzzards Bay to handle the waves generated by the buildup of water as the tide surges up a narrow funnel and has no place to go. Deep draft, can be handled by one person although two is better. Gaffe rig.

The personal connection for me is that this boat being readied for the season that June, reminded me of the scene in the Bobolink boathouse on Naushon, a sight few get to see, but a memory of twenty five years of frequenting Naushon.
