Refugee - Julia Cumes - Kakuma Camp, Kenya

from $3.95

I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Saida, a young Somali woman, at Kakuma Refugee Camp in Northern Kenya.  Arriving from Somalia as a child in the care of family friends, she hadn’t seen her family since. When I met her, she had just enrolled in a higher education program through the Global Education Movement and was excited at the prospect of the new journey it might offer her.  While she is one of the lucky ones, her story is just one of the almost 200,000 in the camp and one of over 25 million refugees worldwide.

Note cards are printed personally in Robert Manz Studio, folded, inserted in a clear plastic sleeve, along with a quality cream-colored envelope. The card is blank inside and has the location information printed on the back.

The sizes available are 4”x6” and 5”x7” folded.

You can choose coated card stock or rag paper.
